VIDEO PLAYLIST: March for Science April 22, 2017

“The March for Science is the first step of a global movement to defend the vital role science plays in our health, safety, economies, and governments.”

Organizers and participants in the world’s first-ever March for Science in Washington D.C. and more than 500 satellite marches across the globe including Arctic and Antarctic Scientists.  We support peaceful social movements that connect people and the planet. The March for Science brought thousands of marchers together to call for robustly funded and publicly communicated science, science awareness, climate change awareness, and a demand for action to our political leaders and policy makers to enact evidence based policies in the public interest. As Bill Nye lead thousands in the March for Science in the Washington D.C. march – “Science is political, but it’s not partisan. Science serves all of us. Together, dare I say it? Save the world. Lets March!” – Bill Nye, March for Science, April 22, 2017.
